Could Fidgeting Lead to Healthier Blood Vessels?

1849164I hope so, because my dad used to ask me at dinner if I was nervous – my leg was always bouncing up and down.

But then, as I aged my legs, vein-y and muscular from training and conditioning, started looking like my grandpa’s – vein-y and muscular. And hairless.

And they needed some vein work, too.

So this article is personal but also physiological. In light of the many benefits one gets from being active, maybe adding some leg bouncing, toe tapping, foot rolling, etc while sitting for long periods of time could help keep your veins healthier if not better looking as you age:
